If the three people from Signature delivery now mid/late January reporting delivery estimates of January for Sigs #597, #9XX, and #13XX are legitimate, then you would have already received such a notification too. So did you?

Nope -- but that doesn't mean the others aren't accurate. Could be a slower production ramp.

could the winter package be the reason for the delay?

If I'm not mistaken, when the X was introduced at the event there were some reports of the cold weather package delaying Model X production.

The delay was shown on the Design Studio pages during the first days, but Tesla Motors dropped the warning and verbally mentioned that it was no longer an issue.

I agree about the 'warm weather package' not causing the delay. When I talked with my DS that was not an issue.

No estimated delivery date. In regard to the Subzero Weather Package, that possible one month delay was over a month ago, so I have no concern about that being a reason.

A friend at Juniper Networks tells me the CIO of Tesla showed up at one of their events today, in a Model X. Seems not to be a Founder's edition. At least one can hope!

Why do you think it wasn't a Founders? Different badging or? (Tesla CIO would definitely fall under the Founders umbrella...)

Was Jay Vijayan driving his own Model X? Or one of the marketing cars similar to what were used for test rides at the Model X launch? The marketing cars did not have Founders badging. Someone should have checked the VIN.

I could agree with that sentiment, if it weren't for the whole ramp-X-or-die thing.
