Dual motor low range will be about as expensive as rwd high range wont it? So now what.

No. Long range is $9000 whereas dual motor probably won't be more than $5000. Originally I was aiming for rwd LR but this changes things.

They might be trying to game the US Federal tax credit. Ship some cars to Canada to to buy themselves an extra quarter before hitting the 200,000 maximum before their tax credit starts to diminish.
Funny, I saw that myself and was going to post on here about it. But I'm not even excited about it at this point. I don't have much faith in them actually delivering cars to us this summer. Don't get me wrong I'll be happy to hand them a suitcase filled with unmarked bills for the privilege, but won't hold my breath waiting. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice...

Hmmm, that's odd - mine still shows the three options, including mid-2018. I can't imagine they really will offer us the short range battery AWD this summer/fall, but a girl can always dream.

Just checked mine and it's the same, mid 2018 still. The dual motor option can't include the SR version at this point, they should really be honest and just say dual motor LR maybe mid 2018.
I guess that’s good that mine is different then as we know it’s not generic. I just reserved last year so my delivery should be later.

Funny, I don't see that. I thought that current Tesla owners were given priority. I have an early S and now an X on order (March delivery).

I can't even find my estimated delivery date anymore. I click on "Manage" on my Model 3 then it takes me to this:

Thank you. I get mid 2018 for the dual motor too. I sure hope that's true but I won't be counting on it.
