Yes, the response was pretty much just asking for confirmation that I was sure about giving up the free super charge access in exchange for the 5k.Was that response via email?

If they read our posts, they might have forgone the $5k check and gave us a modest 0-60s improvement... or maybe it’s just maxed out already. It's like they read our posts here... I posted that comment earlier today and they sent me a response e-mail less than an hour later!
If they offered an upgrade to unlock Ludicrous mode and 3.1s 0-60 for 5K I'd gladly write a check back for 5k. Hope they do this...
I would hand over 5k for 2.9 second 0-60 instead of eap/refund. No 2nd guessing. No problem. It’s a weird mentality.
Sorry to hear. Hope you get the refund quickly and that the shutdown ends quickly. I sell to the Gov’t so somewhat feel your pain.Just put in my request today, hoping for a quick turn around time. I’m a federal gov employee working without pay, so I might need that 5,000 within the 8 weeks.

Either way, kudos to Tesla. I love this car so much.
I think they will at some point. Maybe for $5k? Would make sense.I wish they would let me write a check to make my standard dual motor a stealth P... I passed on it because I viewed the 5k as the cost of free supercharging and didn't think that was a good value since I charge primarily at home. You guys getting a check for 5k should consider that a gift..
If I remember right, the stealth P cost $13000 more. If they are giving $5000 refunds to the P buyers, It would be equal to offer the AWD buyers the opportunity to upgrade to stealth P for $8,000. At the end of the day though, we bought what we bought.I think they will at some point. Maybe for $5k? Would make sense.
Mine was $11k when I ordered. But pricing has changed so much I think it was a crap shot how much people paid.If I remember right, the stealth P cost $13000 more. Was that befor or after the option change?I picked up my car on 11/14. Nearly two months later still no refund check.
