Woke up to a missing EDD today. No idea what if means anymore, it’s all just noise until you get the blue VIN button.

Still hopeful we get flooded with VIN posts soon. GL everyone!

Second day of no EDD for me. Discouraging to see another from SLC with no EDD. Do they even ship them here? Contacted my SA yesterday and still haven’t heard back. Beyond frustrating.

Thanks for providing the dates! There has been a lot of price increases. At one point they were coming in every other week, Thursday night at midnight for a couple months very consistently.

And to your point, there indeed was a price increase between your original order date (21May) and change order date (16Jun). There was a $500 increase on June 10 2021: Tesla Model 3, Model Y Prices Are Increasing

Mystery solved! The MBA in me can finally fall asleep tonight.

PS: the $90 extra charge is increased sales tax due to increase in order price

Really stressing about this October edd. Not sure what to do since i need a car. Wait for the car I want? Buy a used tesla somewhere? Buy another ICE vehicle and Lowkey hate it since it’s not a Tesla? Honestly this is just bullshit going on day 65 of waiting. I know there are people that have been waiting longer, but it’s still bullshit.

Considering the uncertain EDD, are any of you considering other vehicles? Is there a thread on what other vehicles prospective Model Y owners are considering? Not able to do a quick search when I tried. A few post titles came up, but when I clicked on them it said they cannot be found.

From what I saw, looks like Jeep has plenty of inventory. I checked out the Cherokee L, but the gas mileage is abysmal.

Most deals I found are mostly for lease. Some with a high das, which is not a good idea unless it’s for msd.

BMW didn’t seem to lack for cars either

Let it be and just be happy. 1,000 SC miles is around $70 they gave you 10,000 SC miles thats about $700. You end up with a $110 upside.

I guess I can’t really go buy a different car. I already bought floor mats, full front ppf, mattress, organizers, screen cover and home link. I think that’s all have most stuff in a cart on Teslarati, but I was waiting for a VIN to push the buy button on that stuff

I think the rep did you dirty by not being absolutely clear with you that your car now has a higher base price and you'll be losing your locked-in lower price. That being said, if the 10k miles isn't in writing, it may or may not even show up on your account when you take delivery! Some people in the past have complained that they never loaded the supercharger miles and had to call their delivery specialist to get it added. If it shows up, I'd take it as a gift for waiting three or more months for a new car.

I had this experience twice so far. The first time it absolutely felt like that. This time I saw the EDD on the right side of the page and after the trade in was approved, it remained the same. At least at that point. Now its October.

Well now that EDD Sept says EDD October and I still don’t have a VIN#.

Same here. My trade in expired on 6/30 and when I redid it, my date pushed almost a month in the wrong direction and has never pushed back to where it was. My SA said the same thing, that it wasn’t related, but sure feels like it was…

Yeah and now I have an EDD October. My delivery keeps getting further away instead of closer.

When refreshing the order page on their phones, does anyone else pause for that half second just at the point where the next scroll up reveals the EDD?

Which dealers in the NY area you shopped at? My sister is looking for a X6. Has to order since not much in stock.

Probably due to mostly custom orders. It’s like a 1 month for any SUV, depending on which part of the country you live. 1.5 to 2 months for anything else not built in SC. Took a little under 2 months for my E92 order. Tracking the production steps and eventually the RoRo as it reached the port. Fun times.

It’s hard now to get anywhere near the typical 10% off msrp for the X5 or LCI X3. Still some leftover 2021 X3s though and probably get a deal

Audi was wiped out of their Q5 and Q7 inventory during the Costco deal. I was shopping for a Q7 and asked the SA what happens when there are no more Qs. Audi’s response was to try to sell the A6s. Lol.

In these two images, it shows that $500 was a price increase in the car? Shows that the price of the car went up. I was never told that the cars price was going to change. The only thing that was going to change was the modification. I went from white paint which was free up to black paint which was $1000. She told me it was just gonna change it by $1000. But it changed it by $1590.

same thing happened to me, ordered MYLR 6/8 and added the 20” induction 6/22. In between those dates the price of the MYLR increased from $51,990 to 52,490. Any change on the configuration will bump you to the new price book.

Not to add fuel to this fire since its seems like EDDs are all over the place but for anyone in here that ordered from Las Vegas, here's my spec.

Y LR, Deep Blue Metallic, 5 seater, no FSD, no Tow

Ordered: 6/23
Profile Complete: 6/28
Original EDD: Sep - Oct (dates shifted around a bit but stayed within the months range)
VIN on Manage Profile Page: 7/30
EDD: 8/3 - 8/8

Haven't heard from local store reps at all. Got one email shortly after placing my order but no response to a follow-up and SA hasn't picked up calls.

It is possible that the rep screwed up and did not know where the increase came from so made up something. Maybe rep forgot about the price increase and how it would affect the order change. If the rep did know, would explain it.
