Ok so there a second time for everything, I got a JOB! Like a regular one, not driving for uber. It pays way more than the marina. I get $1850 every two weeks which is perfect. Id be an Access Control Specialist or Gatekeeper for short, at a very wealthy community.
Congratulations! That's fantastic, very happy for you.

Be friendly and get to know the people you're serving, their names, interests, hobbies, etc. and start developing relationships with them. If they're towing their boat, going golfing, whatever, start conversations with them. That's the first steps of very informal networking. Offer to help, go above and beyond your job description, make a positive first impression as the new guy. Before you know it, more doors will open up, and a higher pay/higher responsibility job will come to you. If you're hungry for it and are willing to work for it, you will get it.

I have to assume that is exactly what happened to mine; no glass or anything in the area. I used to travel every week for work and got out of the cab from the airport and my car wasn't at the house. My roommates at the time hadn't even noticed it was missing...

I replaced that car with....a WRX STI! Which I also loved, and only sold for my next love - because my wife and I were paying for our wedding ourselves.

At least they didn't get yours! I am picturing one of like the '96 Mustangs, which if you got that for under $1k (and if it drove the whole time) and resold for $600 is a pretty good deal!
Small world. Our wedding was easy to pay for ourselves... found a $29 per head reception hall that included booze, buffet, linens, cake and the dessert table. My dress was $299. The big splurge was the limo bus to cart our accidentally-drunk butts around downtown for pictures before a 20 min ceremony (no chairs) under a gazebo by the Museum of Art. Perfection.

My first car was a 96 LeBaron GT Convertible. Shook violently over 50 mph.
I saw a TikTok where someone said they finally got to use their expensive Tesla umbrella. I thought to myself “an umbrella can’t be that expensive, right?”. $60–touché, Elon 😳😂
That'd be Jeremy Judkins. He's a hoot!

set up distill notifications on the inventory aggregator sites (ev-tsla and tesla-info) as well as the tesla existing inventory page. Last night a MSM/ Black LR5 came up but I missed it by a few minutes. By early september we'll see inventory start to come up.
I have it on everywhere. Just completed my multi engine check ride so I was away from home.
The thing is my LR is 3k cheaper. They told me if they pull a inventory car I get new price.

Well, mine changed from October to 10 October - 30 October. From that I derive two ideas; first, Elon is becoming committed to the idea that I won't be jammed into the quarter ending rush, which is ok with me, and next, he doesn't know how many days are in October.

The bad part is I'll be in Portugal from 8 -16 October. But maybe I can set up delivery for 16 October and have my friend drop me off at Tesla on the way back from Dulles. That would be perfect.

ok, just freaked out for a minute - I got a call from Tesla!

he asked if I was still interested in taking a test drive. Seriously? I did that in June.

Took the chance to see if he knew anything about my order - but of course not, just useless.....
It's also fun when you get those kinds of emails because you're listed as second owner not first... so I feel like responding "Dude, I've had the car since before whoever composed this email blast ever worked for the company"

My May 25th order has been JUST 2 weeks away for the past 2 weeks. I will wake up every morning and check my EDD and it has shifted back EXACTLY one day. Since my order date, I have kept track of all of my EDD changes knowing full well it would change multiple times (37 and counting), but these particular "shifts" are just extra frustrating. Here is the summary of the just the past two weeks:

July 25- august 10-august 30
July 28 - August 11 - August 30
July 29 - august 12- august 31
July 30 - August 13 - August 30
July 31 - August 14 - August 31
August 1 - august 15- august 31
August 2 - August 16- august 31
August 3 - August 18- September 5
August 4 - august 18-September 1
August 5 - August 19 - September 2
August 6 - august 20 - September 1
August 7 - august 21 - September 1
August 9 - august 23 - September 3
August 10 - august 24 - September 9

Is anyone else experiencing the "two weeks away" EDD changes? It's like the goal post keeps moving and I'll never get there!

I stopped by my delivery location yesterday to see if they had any "behind the scenes" info, but the SA who I spoke with was actually pretty rude and wouldn't even look up my order without an actual VIN. I got the generic "we don't know anything until the VIN is assigned, best of luck to you"

My May 25th order details: MYLR, MSM/Black interior, + Tow, +FSD, 19in wheels. Delivery Location: Decatur, GA
I feel like today is my first day of what you have been experiencing. Today the front of my edd moved back one day and the rear date stayed the same. Im sure I’ll wake up tomorrow to the same thing like today.

Reading an article like this just gets me more frustrated about the MYLR order experience. Tesla has the clear advantage when it comes to charging locations. It makes considering alternative EVs like the Ioniq 5 a real challenge.

So turns out getting a VIN still means you’ll have quite the wait lol. Ordered 7/14, VIN 7/26, EDD was 8/9-8/17, and today, the EDD updated to 8/22-8/30. Called the local SC recently and was told my vehicle is still in production (which is what I was told in a previous text message) and expected to complete production by the end of the week. Not keeping my fingers crossed lol.

MYLR, MSM, Black interior, 5-seats, Induction wheels, no FSD
Dang what is your VIN? Also wondering if Texas order has anything to do with the wait?
