It sounds like you're asking if you can get by with just a 110 outlet. If that's right, then the answer is yes. It is slightly less efficient and thus will cost you more on your electric bill than higher power charging but we're talking nominal so not worth factoring in. (And good luck with those calculations anyway...)

Years ago Tesla published a customer story about an owner in Brooklyn without dedicated charging. He managed to get by just fine with no home charging at all - and he was putting about 1,000 miles on the car each month. And that was 2015-2016 when there were probably about 700 superchargers world wide, compared to today's ~3000.

You'll be fine. Plus I think Doylestown is V3. Blazing fast charge speeds.
Thanks. I eventually plan on dedicated charging at home, but tearing apart the basement ceiling after just painting/finishing it (yeah, big mistake) isn't something I want to do just yet. Or to put it another way, if I don't finish the shelving in my wife's closet first, I may be sleeping in the Tesla when it arrives.

Doylestown is V3 and there's usually only 1 car there anytime I've stopped by.

Congrats to all VINners!

I've been sitting on 9/8 - 9/28 for almost 10 days. I start checking EDD since end of July(glad I did) probably once a day. Every day EDD was changing - 5 steps forward - 10 steps back. It was frustrating but fun. Now it's kind of boring😂

Anyway... Happy Friday all!

Visited Tesla Carlsbad today as I was nearby to comfort my impatience and get another Model Y test drive in (probably my 5th one cause why not, right?) and I could not be happier to get the opportunity to experience the interior of Model S Plaid from the first production batch with the original Plaid plaque! Super cool people there saw how excited I was to see it on the lot and I was allowed to take a look. There was also one Plaid driving off the lot after fresh delivery.

Next time I hope to have the chance to take that Plaid for a 0-60 spin :D

Did I say it comforted my impatience? NOW I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE Y EVEN MORE!
I'm afraid to visit Tesla Carlsbad...I may never leave w/o my car and they'll have to escort me off the premises.

just called the 510 number for logistics to ask where my MY is, best I could get is that it is in Transit. My EDD changed to 8/29-9/4 a few days ago, I can't imagine that I'll get to take delivery on the early end. With tesla, I'm expecting to take delivery after labor day.
i was 9/2-9/4 too when i got my VIN on the 22nd. now its 8/29-9/4.

haha, I can’t afford to stay. This is the most expensive car I’ve ever purchased (I know, I’m lame) and I’m refreshing a delivery thread watching people 90-100 days away from me getting their cars delivered, and some of those same poor souls not getting theirs. I’ve got carts full on 3 different sites for accessories, keep refreshing the wall connector out of stock page, am terrified of the dying MY threads, and I’m also a little hungry.

Eh, screw it, I’ve got nothing else to do until Christmas. Let’s get to day 8! 😃
You have outstanding taste in Model Y configurations if I do say so myself...

I would definitely have multiple pro's look and decide which is the best route for the conduit. I have a roughly 100 foot run from my breaker box (one wall adjacent to the the wall adjoining my garage) and the way my basement is finished I was certain that I would have to go through to drywall but the electrician I decided to go with (most expensive, but he carries WC's in stock so I don't have to order one) found a route around the finished parts of my basement which the others did not.
