Went with the 3M. It is only the PPF for the lower portions of the doors. I do plan on installing myself. Still thinking about the bra on the frunk, but I might actually have a local place put that on for me.

I’m probably just gonna have a place do it for me. Just need to find a place. Apparently the 3M stuff is the best so far I’ve heard. Also the most expensive.

Maybe things are now happening?!?!

I ordered on April 8th. MYLR Red, B/W interior, tow hitch, no FSD.

I find it hard to believe that there would be so few folks from this thread with deliveries. There's definitely a bottle-neck somewhere - maybe with software, maybe with chip shortages, or maybe with general supply chain/demand challenges. But something is not right.

I ordered 3/31 and it’s showing 1-10 weeks from order.

I have the exact same estimated delivery dates. I ordered March 23.

My deliver estimate jumped to June 17 - June 30 earlier today.

I'm expecting no earlier than (NET) June 30 so if she is delivered early, I consider it a bonus

So I’m confused, like all other manufacturers VIN numbers get assigned when the vehicle is in production in the factory. Tesla doesn’t assign VINs until it is at the Service Center? Seems odd

I don’t think most manufacturers assign VINs. You usually get it when you purchase a vehicle at the dealer.

Not when you special order a vehicle from a dealer. The VIN is assigned at the factory during production.

I got a call from my local Tesla location (Boston area) that they were expecting some MYs with my specs (LR, MSM, black interior, 5 seat, no hitch) within the next 1-2 weeks, asking if I'd be interested in taking delivery, and they took my current insurance info.

Ordered on 4/2 and the original estimate was 5-9 weeks. My account's estimate shows 6/2 - 6/22. My lease is up on 6/1 so I'm hopeful I can trust the call. No vin yet.

Received the new email on Virtual Workshop also... it is a step ahead and I feel better already. Might be our new MY will arrive soon!

Reading within the lines of the email it seems like they are going to try more touch-less deliveries, and this online session with Q&A is the orientation perhaps. That could mean a speed up in deliveries soon, hopefully.
