I may try that later this week. I was really hopeful that I would see someone on this thread post about a VIN notification today, but it seems like whatever the bottleneck is will continue for a bit. On the plus side, I haven’t been this anxious about getting something since I was 8 and waiting for my NES for Christmas. I have to admit, it’s nice to be really excited about a new toy again.Try calling the service center where you'll be picking up and select option #4 to contact a delivery specialist. They may give you a similar answer though, it seems like things are on hold because of this pending firmware update.
