So picked up my MY at noon in Rockville today, actually a little earlier. There were about 10 MYs lined up for delivery. KInd of a dreary day today, so no beauty shots. Fit and finish were pretty good; the frunk might be slightly sunken, but the gaps are even. The doors and trunk were acceptable. The paint looked OK, but there was some residue from polishing, pollen, and other environmental deposits on the car, so clearly it had been stored outside for a few days at least - not as clean as I am used to with new cars... No interior squaks. The delivery specialist said they've delivered over 250 MYs this week between the Rockville and Tysons Corner DCs; the cars are stored at 3 lots in the Tysons Corner area (as there is no room at Rockville) and shuttled around. They are getting new deliveries every day. He says he's never seen it like this. He normally works in Tysons, so he must be working OT, lol.

The car had ~170 miles of range when I accepted it, so I wanted to supercharge it at Rio for the drive home, but the battery had not been conditioned from the short drive from the DC to Rio, so I drove home instead. Also tried to engage AP, but the cameras had not calibrated. About midway home (~25 miles) the AP was ready, and I engaged it in cruise mode. It did well, slowed as it approached cars in front of me. I noticed that the cameras did not detect road debris on the highway, nor pedestrians crossing in front of me while the car was in motion in a shopping center parking lot. The cameras had trouble with semis as they passed (or I passed them): the representation of the truck was jittery. No problem with cars or vans.

Went to the Annapolis supercharger, and the first bay I plugged into did not work, so I went to another one on a different node, which worked. Watched several other people try the inop bay, with the same negative results. Charged up to 80% in about 1/2 hour.

The car had no mud flaps or PPF, but it did have an air compressor / flat kit - which Tesla provided free of charge. The delivery specialist said they have a lot of flats in this area, so they include one to help cut down on roadside assist calls. Seems to have the old style headlights - I plan to take the car out tonight to test them since I've never driven a Tesla at night, lol.

Hi all
I just signed up and created account but been watching this thread for a while.

Ordered MYL white on 5/1 but changed my order 5/12 to MYP. The dates have been changing nearly every day. Yesterday my EDD 6/1-6/13 but today has gone all the way up to 3-5 weeks. Do any of you know by experience if the MYP’s models tend to come sooner? And if they generally have less quality control issues on delivery?

I believe Maryland law requires new vehicles to either include a spare tire or a tire repair kit.

Ordered MYLR on 5/6. Got VIN on 5/29. I received the notification for setting up delivery on 5/30. I am picking it up on 6/6 in Mt Kisco, NY. I am surprised how quickly it turned around. Original timeframe was 5-12 weeks. I was expecting end of June. I am looking forward to picking it up and driving it. It feels like I waited forever. I have been through the ups and downs with this purchase. The whole online purchasing process is completely different than buying at a dealership. To many YouTube videos were watched.

Nice! Congrats on the VIN! I’m also a May order waiting on a Mt. Kisco pickup.

Those mats look just like what I am looking for. We spend a lot of time at the beach. Please post back who they fit and perform once you get your MY.

Yeah I can't go without all weather mats here in the PNW. These seemed closest to mats in my current vehicles, so figured I'd give em a try. I'll definitely report back after install.

Those look pretty cool! I had a tough time decided what to buy for mats - watching YouTube videos from the usual Tesla suspects didn't help because you can tell a lot of them were sponsored. I was fluctuating back and forth between the 3D Maxpider and Tesmanian and settled on Tesmanian.

Was looking at both those too. Wasn't sure about the material of the 3Ds and wasn't willing to gamble at that price. Almost went with the Tesmanian ones, but reviews made them seem more plastic-y. Do you have yours? Are they more of a hard plastic or a rubber?
