Tough pill to swallow today. Was informed by my local SA and my regional SA that any 7 seater MYLR models are looking at a closer to November delivery time frame. They just aren’t going to prioritize 7 seater models right now. Yikes. 😳

listening to the tesla Q2 earnings call today, it sounded like they're having a hard time sourcing all the parts needed "even though we don't have as many models and trims as other auto makers" - Quote from Elon.

Unfortunately they may start prioritizing builds they can get out fast with the parts they have.
I apologize, I am catching up from last night. I just wanted to add that on the call, one of the exact examples he used was seat belts and how if those are short supply you can’t deliver the car. So maybe he used that as an example because they have had a seat belt supply issue? Which would make the 7 seater less likely to get produced

That you are to receive a new car with VIN 210*** at this time is interesting. My MYLR was manufactured on 6/14 (per windshield sticker I saw) and it's at the tail-end of the 210*** sequence. I am thinking that your car could have been manufactured first or second week of June. Betting that someone backed out of a purchase at end of quarter.
Yeah, that seems to be the only logical reason why I would get a VIN that far back. Don't get me wrong I will love it and give it a good home, but I would like to know that it has most of the new summer MY features on it. Like the double pane windows, updated winshield wipers, hepa filter, etc.

But is it weird that I kind of like the fact that we're both kind of societal rejects? lol

Can you please elaborate on the "No access to the OnStar" thing. I am planning on buying a forester for my wife some time end of this year.
Did some light research. OEMs spent $26B to try to defeat the MA Right to Repair measure. They were soundly defeated, and the measure is now law. So instead of spending that money to beef up their cybersecurity framework, they totally stopped developing their products, letting them become non-compliant with the new law. And they're using the existing dealership network as a lobby and pressuring customers to "take it up with the state". Gotta love it!

My guess is the Subaru app features for locks/climate are temporarily nerfed until they get it compliant with the new law, and you probably have to make a dealership service appt to get the sw update once they develop it. Subaru is not a sw dev company, so it might take a while, and there's a chance it won't be a recall so they may make customers pay for the update.

Countdown to 1000

It looks like each page is 20 posts so we only need 353+/- more posts to hit 1000. Yesterday was 221 posts between from 8am - 8am so if we get a full day of sharing stories of common misery, stress and lack of information from our SA's we can have at least something to cheer about at the end of the day!
Count me in. I don't see the EDDs in my profile for the last 3 days or so. Not sure if it is good or bad. Added another layer of anxiety.

Now, I cannot even look forward to refreshing the page to see the EDDs.
