Last data point for a bit: I couldn't even wait an hour and called the SC. They were able to tell me it will arrive in Dallas on the 22nd and I can pick up on the 24th. So excited for others to start getting VINs!!!!!

Call them back and ask if @potter287's car and my car will be on the same truck. If not, tell them I cancel my order. I insist they travel together.

Thank you! I wish we could be we are moving our son into the dorm at UT. However, Labor Day weekend we may go back down to see him or bring him home for the long weekend. I asked the SA if this means it is in the production line or being loaded for transport and she said it means it is now ready to be loaded for transport. I am guessing all of our Texas MY's are in the same parking lot being scanned right now. I bet you get a VIN today/tomorrow.

Got an update: October 22-November 11 I am not upset by that in the slightest. Finally seeing actual dates is nice.

Not a tire nerd at all and the CrossClimate+ are only on my rears, which disappointingly prematurely ran down. They were added to my 3 mid-winter but I didn't have to drive in the snow with them so I can't say much about performance yet. What I can say is that the "funky" tread pattern is barely noticeable, even with MXM4s on the front. But again, due to having MXM4s on all 4 for most of this past winter, that gives me a combined 11 where I never felt the need to get dedicated winters. And that's RWD to boot.

Noooo!! My husband's #2 was also stolen in Philly. A WRX that he adored. It was straight flat-bedded off a corner and my mom noticed it was gone by 9am because she passed it on her way to work and assumed he had taken his motorcycle that day (and found it odd due to rain...)

My first car almost got stolen in West Philly. They cut the rag top but I still managed to sell it for just $300 less than I paid for it. Yaknow, from $900 purchase price to $600. hahahaha

I have to assume that is exactly what happened to mine; no glass or anything in the area. I used to travel every week for work and got out of the cab from the airport and my car wasn't at the house. My roommates at the time hadn't even noticed it was missing...

I replaced that car with....a WRX STI! Which I also loved, and only sold for my next love - because my wife and I were paying for our wedding ourselves.

At least they didn't get yours! I am picturing one of like the '96 Mustangs, which if you got that for under $1k (and if it drove the whole time) and resold for $600 is a pretty good deal!

I was thinking of a set of MSW Type 49s with Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season's. Not bad for a budget winter wheel, that can carry over if needed. Im NOT trying to spend crazy on rims right off the bat, thats for sure. LOL.

Not sure about the MSW brand though. Not even sure Im sold on the look in gunmetal gray. Itll be on a MSM/White MYP

I agree! Ahhhhhh. Trying to keep calm and remember EDD stands for estimated disappointment date...but I can't keep the hope at bay...this news seems too good with our aligned dates

OMG!!!! I got the blue button and VIN!!! It is a 251 series VIN and EDD changed to the temporary 6-8 weeks. OMG!!!!

Also, the site was down using Chrome so I switched to Safari and got this update. However, Distil was successful in notifying me as well.

Congratulations, I had a feeling that we would be seeing some more VINs assigned to Texas folks today! woohoo!

Had October for a week. For 10 days I did not have anything. This morning I got 9/28-9/30. Order date 7/12 in Socal. They might be trying to up deliveries as it is the end of the quarter. Hope that does not effect the "quality" due to end of quarter push. Probably not to worry as it can change in a second.

My May 25th order has been JUST 2 weeks away for the past 2 weeks. I will wake up every morning and check my EDD and it has shifted back EXACTLY one day. Since my order date, I have kept track of all of my EDD changes knowing full well it would change multiple times (37 and counting), but these particular "shifts" are just extra frustrating. Here is the summary of the just the past two weeks:

July 25- august 10-august 30
July 28 - August 11 - August 30
July 29 - august 12- august 31
July 30 - August 13 - August 30
July 31 - August 14 - August 31
August 1 - august 15- august 31
August 2 - August 16- august 31
August 3 - August 18- September 5
August 4 - august 18-September 1
August 5 - August 19 - September 2
August 6 - august 20 - September 1
August 7 - august 21 - September 1
August 9 - august 23 - September 3
August 10 - august 24 - September 9

Is anyone else experiencing the "two weeks away" EDD changes? It's like the goal post keeps moving and I'll never get there!

I stopped by my delivery location yesterday to see if they had any "behind the scenes" info, but the SA who I spoke with was actually pretty rude and wouldn't even look up my order without an actual VIN. I got the generic "we don't know anything until the VIN is assigned, best of luck to you"

I can't for the life of me figure out how to apply for Tesla financing. I have a loan through a 3rd-party bank, which has expired, but I'd rather just go through Tesla.

Where do I find this option? I know it's there when you're first configuring your car, but now I can't find nuttin'. On the support pages it says to go to Payment Method, but all I have there is a credit card (used for the $100 deposit) and no other options pop up, no matter how hard I smash the keyboard.

Your SA or online chat advisor can open it back up. I would wait till you get a VIN unless you do not mind reapplying and taking the hits.

your SA can change your payment option for you, but why do it now? wait until you have a vin to hard hit your credit. Financing literally should take less than a day, this isn't a mortgage.
