2 weeks now with a 10/13-11/2 EDD. Squarely in the “we will deal with you later pile”

With no EDD, I guess that I'm in the "filed away way way way back in the storage room somewhere under a 50 foot massive pile of earlier orders" pile or perhaps the "orbiting out in the ether with the Space Roadster" pile.

I don't see it - it is scoped for using money in coming fiscal year. Also the intention is to get people to buy electric vehicles not support those who have already bought them.

Fiscal year starts on Oct 1st. So why not make it effective Oct 1st instead of January 2022?

Seems like everyone in WA, no matter their OD, has an EDD range of, “9/14-9/30”….

Not me! I'm at 12/15 - 1/4. I only ordered a month ago, though.

It's likely a parts-shortage build.
They built the vehicle but couldn't finish it due to parts not available.
Now it's found the parts and is done.
It's not likely a problem. It's only 8-10 days different in build date than a 269xxx.

I wish. Sitting at 11/13, but that is in line with the est. delivery month when I placed my order. I really just hope I have it by the end of the year.

Mine did the same as yours!! I was 9/12 to 9/30. Now I'm at 9/14 to 9/30! This is a good sign??

Hmm. Hard to say. Seems odd that Tesla would open the EDD window so close to the current date. It's unrealistic that either of us would take delivery tomorrow or the day after.

When I spoke with someone at my Tesla service center on Friday, they said I was on track for the last week of Sept.

Not sure what to make of this new EDD to be honest.

Discouraged, I called the 1-888 number to talk to a person. They did not see an EDD of October 11 - 31; they saw an EDD for the end of September. There were caveats, of course, but it may be that I'm still on-track for a September delivery.

For those in a similar situation, don't fret yet. Let's see what happens.

An update: with an order date of 6/28, MYLR, FSD, red, and nothing else fancy, shipping to Colorado: I have a VIN as of this afternoon and an estimated delivery window between September 23rd and 26th. So, insurance updated, bank account primed, and we're on track.

Looks like the October 11 - 31 slip was just the software being the software. That'll make 90 days from order. For those of you still waiting, and still a month or so out, the best advice anyone will give you is to step away, take a breath, and not get caught up in the day-to-day movement. Bon courage! This, too, shall pass.

It’ll all depend whether it’s based on order date or fiscal year too. The difficult decision will be, if it does look like it’s happening, whether to delay — I don’t know that I can bring myself to do it again.
