Deliveries of $80k X?

I see an inventory, which I am assuming is a 23 but same config that I ordered and discounted to $77,590. It's in NY but I live in TN. Wonder if I can get the tax credit with it, and fly there, pick it up and drive it back??

If so, it wouldn’t be a bad deal if one could combine the $1000 Cybertruck and $7500 POS credits to make it a $69K Model X!

I canceled my 2023 order in the end and placed an new order. Current EDD is Feb-March.
Lost the $250 order fee and the $1000 discount with Cybertruck preorder. Hope it's worth it.

And POS tax credit is finally online. Are you going to take your delivery?

Yes. I just applied! Going to pick it up tomorrow 2pm at Irvine! I am happy now finally.

PS: no one call me! I found out online. Still poor customer service lol

Yeah except they did gate changes to HVAC and steering wheel to the model year, so thats not really true.

Found this in a article for the updated wheel controls. Looks like just a quick shortcut to activate the camera views on the display:

On the right spoke live yet more new buttons: the cruise control activation button, a highly useful shortcut to the exterior cameras (a boon when parking); a wiper button; and voice assistant button

It will disassociate the VIN from your order. You should be assigned a new VIN after the hold clears in 14 days.

While the disassociation is true, there exists a possibility that you would be assigned the same VIN…if it still exists after you’re through the hold.

This would also seem to jive with the email that reservation holders got that stated:

We received updated EPA range estimates for Model X Plaid that are slightly lower than when you placed your order. This update is a result of several comfort and functionality improvements we’ve made across our vehicles, which require more energy from the battery pack.

This would indicate material changes, and not just updated numbers due to different testing required by the EPA

So Question is if there is a hardware change (more powerful computing)? or just software. If it is software, shouldn't it apply to older models as well?

That is interesting because I have never felt my HVAC or defogging was lacking in any way and I though we already had tri-zone HVAC (Driver, front passenger and rear passengers)?
The horn in the center is nice though.
