Sorry to hear about your disappointment. I think Tesla should pay close attention to situations like these as to date they've been dealing with a userbase that is largely into hopping online (or getting info by other means) and getting the skinny behind the product. There are some things that they or their staff say that we, in general, know how to filter, but the general public doesn't.

I think we can all agree they need to work on their communications, and in this case properly communicating the current features and state of the car would have likely resulted in less frustration and disappointment.

I say you give it a try though. I got my car in winter and was horribly disappointed with the range. Things got better in the summer, and by the next winter I was better at squeezing range out of the car without driving like an old man.

Please post the pictures of your Model S85D? And a picture of your order confirmation (minus any private stuff).

Like a missing center console in the car next to a confirmed order with a center console listed in the selected items.
Tesla Motors monitors this forum like a freaking hawk (as was proven by the Model X leaked rendering) you can probably get some serious attention if you back it up with observable facts.

yes I made it and shipped it to him a month before I got the car never hared from anyone
nice ring.
is it a casting?
I wanted to make some lapel pins for all the execs since some people don't care for wearing body jewelry. could happen, someday. many projects and ideas though + still need to make a 'T' wine opener:tongue:.

I understand the price of the car and lack of communication don't go together - but personally the last 2 years of driving have been the most fun ever
hope everything works out for you

Okay now that I know how to post a picture I will if you like post a picture of my black P 85d tomorrow it's dark here now I get the feeling you don't believe me
It's amazing how we automatically assume that because of the lack of punctuation etc a person is misleading us. As opposed to just being someone who is possibly a senior and not comfortable using the internet. I think it is great that you have a Tesla, let alone a P85D and you found TMC!
Looked at your website. Awesome work.
Let me know if you would like to be involved with our Southern Ontario Tesla Owner's Club.
I might consider getting you to design a Model S ring.

On a different note ... For me the app is useless now for a week. It is the crashing. Tesla is not able to help, Apple (iOS 8.1.2 on iphone 6plus) tells me it is Tesla and Tesla has no idea.

I reset, reinstalled, changes calendar settings, rebooted the S85 screens in all possible settings, turned off phone and MS ....

Any help here?

Thanks a lot!

Sounds like an iPhone problem. No issues here on Android.

I like it cool

Thank you so much for sharing! This is the coolest ring... Ever! How much would something like that cost? I love how it has the stand with it so he doesn't even have to wear it. He could put it on his desk or something!

As others have said, he getting pretty swamped with crazy people all the time. What address did you send it to anyway? Depending on where it went that might be part of the problem. If he doesn't like it, you should ask for it back and I'll buy it off you :D

Sorry that my description if the site wasn't good enough to help you, I'm glad Nigel was able to post a photo showing where to click!

I think the comment about posting the photos was less for us and more for Tesla. Since it is very true that ownership totally pays attention to all the major online locations (tesla site, here, reddit, and probably a few Facebook groups and such.) It is almost creepy how they know who you are. I personally was contacted because I took part in a discussion about an AC compressor noise issue we were having in the past... And I wasn't even trying to seek a fix for it!

Everything about the service I have seen and heard (with rare exception) is that they bend over backwards to make you happy. Work with them on your issues and I am certain they will make it right!

I have the same phone and OS version, and have not had any crashing problems with the Tesla App. I use it several times a day.

It sounds like something is corrupted on your phone, but usually removing the app and reinstalling clears the app data. Do you have any other apps crashing on you? You might need to back up your phone and do a full restore.

good morning I would like to try that out I have a Porsche 700hp gt2 and I joined the Porsche club
they were to snooty for me did not enjoy the events at all but I do love cars and I would love to come to some event thankyou
I just realized something this morning I have 1500 k on my tesla and 600 of that is because of serves and I cant keep the door windows from fogging up
when I fell in love with this car I was visiting in California that's where I test drove it and I do love the car in the summertime I should put some positives in because the car is absolutely amazing to drive in the summertime

There are winter positives too. I will say that all the Tesla events (and other EV related Events... not Tesla specific) have been an absolute blast to attend. I have also participated in local "cars and coffee" (Which I don't know if you have in your neck of the woods) and depending on which one you go to, some are better than others. But I would not go to one of those unless you REALLY wanted to spend all your time talking to others about the Tesla, because when I have been there I barely get much time to go explore other cars because someone is always asking tons of questions. But I do enjoy it, because I love the car so much (Hopefully you will slowly warm up to the car, even in the cold).

Fog on the windows is something I noticed as well. They do tend to fog rather easily, I think I might need to find some kind of cleaner for the windows that might help with that (They make that type of stuff for glasses... so I assume they should have it for windows as well). You should be aware that the plastics and other parts of the interior are giving off gases (that is why you get that "new car smell"... it is actually the gases being released from the materials) which then tends to collect on your windows (among other things). So you should clean the interior of your windows now and then thoroughly which should also help limit the fogging (assuming that some kind of proper anti-fogging product can't be found). As for why it seems to happen easier in the Tesla, I couldn't say exactly.

I'm confused what you were trying to say here, can you clarify?:
I just realized something this morning I have 1500 k on my tesla and 600 of that is because of serves

Are you saying you have 1,500 KM on the car and 600 KM was from having the car serviced? Cause that seems like a lot... What was the car in service so much for already?
