how was the experience? I haven't heard anything from them yet i guess yours was a 20 so it came out early.

My OD is 01/20
MSM MYLR 19" black interior. No options.
Original EDD: January - March
EDD2 : 3/15 - 3/31
EDD3 : 3/07-3/13
EDD4 : 3/07-3/31 No VIN Assigned!
Location: New York
On the surface it seems changing out interchangeable parts such as 19s for 20s or adding a tow would have a material effect on the EDD. Unless Tesla just won't do that within the same batch in order to maintain line speed. Or there is unequal demand for and/or supply of the parts in question.
I hope this change works out in your favor. I have thought of changing to 20s. But I feel that I should have done so weeks ago when I changed my order from white to black interior.
I saw some in inventory for Florida this week do you check on waiting for tesla.com ?
Today my EDD changed from 3/2-3/30 to 3/10-3/24 ... feels so close yet sooooo far lol. No VIN yet.

I did, and those are 4K more than what I reserved for. So not going for them
We (in Phoenix, AZ) are approximately 800 miles from Fremont and 1000 miles from Austin. I guess that would put us relatively close to the factories. No man's land?

This is a crap shoot. If one happens to pop into inventory at your location that matches your new spec, then you get it faster, could make no significant difference to what would have been your actual delivery date, or could push you out to Q2. We’ve seen it all and every day is different.
did you try talking to your sales advisor if he can honor your old price and match it accordingly? I have seen some people to do itI did, and those are 4K more than what I reserved for. So not going for them
I agree -- just too many dynamic factors to predict.
This may be a bad analogy, but I'm feeling the same as when I somehow chose the wrong check out line in the grocery store. Or doing something silly like giving up my spot in line to get in another only to see the next three people who got in my original line get through check out before I do. Yep, that's happened to me more than I care to recall.

Who knows. Maybe mine was a cancellation. MSM is a rare site to see on the streets down here in south Florida. Most people seem to like white and blue or have the car wrapped with other colors.
You had locked in a good price, so maybe just wait and see since you already paid that non refundable $250.
This is another good example of how Tesla chooses to prioritize.
Kind of giving us a hope to have your car before Federal Tax Cut deadline. They are trustless...OD: 1/18, Blue-BLK, 19, NJ and still no VIN. EDD - 3/13-31.
Dont know when the time will come...
