Hmmm. No one has mentioned that. In this picture I think his shadow is blocking part of the fog lamp on left.

Saw the new '22 refreshed taillights in person today at the SC. Not impressed. Looked like a slightly wider model 3 it was sitting next to. Not a good look to emulate the cheap model on the flagship car. Like my '22 pre-refresh better. Also had the new/original plaid logo badge on the trunk, also not a fan, it's corny.
I think the lights project wide enough that it is not needed. But we will see.
Same.I'd need someone with a Refresh 1.0 to compared. It looks like the Refresh 2.0 splits those fog lights into what looks like "two" parts. Could just be angles... I dunno. Anyone else?

Wish I could figure out why the refresh 2.0 looks different in pictures....
Yep that’s new of today. In fact my app was still in memory, open, and still had the old video! As soon as I closed the app and reopened it it had the new video with the new, sexy charge port upgrade.Anyone else notice the charging video in the app changed to reflect the new tail lights and charging door
It actually looks pretty good. I saw one in person today, looks better than the photos for the head and tail lightsThe headlight during the day is not better or worse looking. It's just unique and new. I do love the look of them at night as all 4 lights are on and makes the car look even more aggressive.

Yep. Looks fantastic in person. Really taken by how much more dated the outgoing lights are (even more so than when the 2021 refresh was released). It actually looks pretty good. I saw one in person today, looks better than the photos for the head and tail lights
The design intent was probably to minimize impact to the line and parts. What they’ve done achieves that but may have missed out on the aesthetics.Still not a fan of the black bar on the rear. Especially with blue or red. white and MSM are ok. And black/black works best. New lights I saw in person and gorgeous
Its just than damn strip lol. It’s like they just didn’t figure out what to do with the rear trunk lid for now.
I'm not sure that had ever been a thing. If is is, then I learned something today.Anyone with the updated charge port - are you able to touch to open the charge port? Mine does not seem to open when I push on it.
According to the instructional videos, you should be able to push the new charge port to openAnyone with the updated charge port - are you able to touch to open the charge port? Mine does not seem to open when I push on it.
Yes, I tried it. Takes more pressure than the previous version but pressing mine toward the back closest to the light did trigger it to open.Anyone with the updated charge port - are you able to touch to open the charge port? Mine does not seem to open when I push on it.

They look ok but slower, I don’t know if its worth it.Sending off this thread with a photo of the lights on my new S I got today.
I’ll probably be looking at these forums less frequently but happy to send additional pics of anything people want or answer more questions before I head out!
Go back and watch it from 3:17 to 3:21. Watch it both at normal speed and 0.5 speed. He has to / decided to force it closed. Maybe his ignorance that it will automatically close. But he seems to force it.
