I wrote a reply in Finnish but looks like it does not get published so let's try in english.
Thanks Pate for sharing your -24C power consumptions. That's useful info for Finland and for me considering 60Kwh model.
Have you used Finnish government subsidies? I hate government subsidies but when I heard they subsidize buying a car I thought it was so unbelievable that I got interested. Traditionally the Finnish government has been trying to kill car buyers and owners with taxes. I asked some finance-leasing offers and noticed that the leasing companies want their share. I was told I would pay only interest for the remaining principal but the actual costs seems to be much higher than that. And then of course there is the mandatory tracking equipment for which you have to pay even 60€/month to the leasing company. The information page about the subsidy says it would be 20€/month (Tuen ehdot | Sähköinenliikenne.fi). I'm still waiting for a one offer and will make decisions after that.
A few days ago I was told in an e-mail from Tesla Netherlands representative that they expect their store in Finland to open in 1H2015, however this is a tentative timeline. I expect the price to be about the same as it is now when bringing your Tesla from Netherlands. Any other opinions?
How much are you paying for an insurance in Finland?
