Free supercharging VIN #?

Does anyone know if there’s a way to tell if a used 2015 Tesla Model S has free supercharging by the VIN#

I’ve reached out to Tesla, but I’m not sure how long it will take for them to get back to me.

VINs won't help cause there were too many variables on how it could have been removed
Asking Tesla might be hit or miss
Only way is to verify sc01 code from current owner or go plug in at SC

Almost all 2015s started with free supercharging, but, if the car was traded in through Tesla, they could have stripped out the free supercharging once they owned the car again. I don’t think they still made the 40 or 60 kW battery in 2015, and those are the only ones that had supercharging as a paid for option.

And there is a current promotion to transfer existing free supercharging to your new Tesla, and the car does not have to be traded in thru Tesla. There is no way to determine if the free supercharging will transfer unless guaranteed in writing by the seller/owner.
