Don't email, call them. It takes one week from California to South Florida. Until you get your replacement try bumping up your amps (on the car display) from 24 to something higher, like closer to 30amps.I got the same issue now with my Gen 3.
Purchased end of July, worked great for 5 weeks. Sunday started the 3 red blinks, trip down to 24amps.
Sent an email to charger support on Tuesday, no ones replied yet.
How long did it take people to get a replacement or to hear back from Tesla on the issue?
You can also hit the webpage from your network without the initial phone config and tellWhen you connect to the wall connector via wifi on your phone, it has a summary page which shows current configuration, including firmware.
Same here, called on the 24th. Was going to call Monday and check the status.Idk about anyone else but I’m still waiting for the escalation process to result in a new unit. I’ve been in the queue for probably 2 weeks now
The replacement Gen 3 wall connector is still working properly.. No issues.I understand your point, but I also want to make sure they actually have it fixed before I get another one. Since you just got yours on Wednesday, please keep us posted on how it performs over the next couple weeks.
