Anyone else got the DIY cable harness only that looks nothing like the installation video? Mine looks nothing like it and there are only two signal plugs...

There should be 2 wiring harnesses that plug into the box. The videos and printed sheets that came with it are wrong and/or misleading. You need to watch the 8 minute video I posted a couple of pages back. I also typed up notes about the install.

Got my DIY harness today and will probably install it this weekend. Just a bit worried that running the wires underneath the carpets will create a bump in the carpet. Any experiences?
Or is it possible to run the wire in the underside panels of the dashboard?

Thanks.
Had no issues with running under carpet. Just need to take out a couple clips. No bumps if you run it under the middle crease of the passenger and driver side carpets.

Could someone please check your driver side wire?
The manual says that driver side plugs are 16p but my connector B has 12 cables and the connector A has only 8 cables.

I didn't notice any reduction in bass. There isn't a whole lot to begin with and I would definitely notice if there was less.

I don't understand the wiring, but I assume that the 4 front speakers are driven from the front channels. After I installed it I moved the fader to all four corners of the car to verify everything was wired correctly. When I moved the fader to the rear, the front speakers went quiet.

I did notice a huge reduction in bass, also clarity of the bass itself seems lower and sounds a lot more muffled than it was before. Not sure if Ill keep them on, will see.

I feel better because I don’t think hansshow made the same error with you.
Did you installed the kit? It works all the speakers?
Not yet, just received it an hour ago. Will you install their rear surround speakers or keep the OEM? I'd like to test the sound before swapping with their speakers. But it seems like complicated to remove all the rear deck. Another thing, do you receive any black glue as mentioned on their instructions?

My car already has stock rear speakers so I ordered version E without the two rear speakers.
Honestly I don’t think it’s worth install their speakers if your car already has

I just received my Version E of the Hansshow kit. I have a 2019 SR+ with the rear factory speakers already installed. I asked Hansshow today if I need to install the two new rear speakers that came with the kit and they said yes, you need to install the two speakers and that the effect is better. In looking online, it looks painful to try and access the rear shelf. I really don't want to have to put these in. I had ordered the kit based on the version from a few weeks ago and they told me this was the new kit and everything should be good.

Hope to not have any issues with this!!
