Is this a hard thing to do, like is it encrypted or what?Correct, if you can just crack the signal after the LVDS Rx chip, it would work. FYI that the signal is MIPI2 after the LVDS Rx
I have one… it’s sadly not so easy.Is this a hard thing to do, like is it encrypted or what?
Can it be done using the DS90UB949-Q1 evaluation module?
Can you elaborate?I have one… it’s sadly not so easy.
wait do they have this for 3/Y or only for S?Sorry the closest is the HDMI taking over the rear view window, which imo is a great integration because you still need the rest of the screen for car controls like HVAC/air suspension/Bluetooth calls etc within easy and quick reach especially whilst you're driving.
Please don't muddy the waters...go ask on a 3/Y subforum since it's got a completely different screen and setup. We're the minority so let's keep it to S and X ONLY here, please.wait do they have this for 3/Y or only for S?

Hello Karnold, So if I understand right on the hardware 3 the HDMI interface use the blue connector on top board of the AP unit, Right ?Yes, it works with the MCU2/AP3 upgrade. See pics - the blue connector on the AP3 goes into the HDMI box, near the passenger-side kick panel in the US. Also HDMI properly wired is shown.
