So I watched this for the 10th time and I had a realization about the Tesla E having three lines. All Model S use a three phase induction motor, so do each one of those horizontal lines in the Tesla E represents one of the phases in the motor?

Thought I might be onto something... :biggrin:

update - Roadster also has a three phase motor

Yes, at least that was what I learned when I did the factory tour in Fremont, CA.
