I live in NW Montana and they are delivering mine as well. Are you saying that they waived the 1200 dollar documentation and delivery fee that is listed on your purchase order?
Is that right? Delivery from the factory negates the $1200 fee?How I'd have loved to take delivery directly from the factory and save those $$$. Sounds like I am subsidizing the rest of you. Socialism!
Since supercharging comes for free, I guess it still makes sense for people to fly here and drive back for a great cross country experience. Much like the European Delivery program.

I usually lease my cars, but in this case it works out too expensive mainly because Tesla doesn't give any upfront discounts off MSRP. So thinking of financing. Tesla's 4.25% seems awful. I can get 3.45% from a local credit union.
No discounts. I paid $87,900 for a 100D. White exterior, black interior, 7 seats, no FSD.Do they give discounts off MSRP if one goes for financing? How much was yours if you dont mind asking
It doesn't work that way because out-of-state buyers have to pay California sales tax. In the past, state legislators in California tried to get a sales tax exception for factory deliveries but none of that legislation was ever approved. How I'd have loved to take delivery directly from the factory and save those $$$. Sounds like I am subsidizing the rest of you. Socialism!

Yes, thats what I am afraid of. I will work with the dealer to have it delivered there (2 miles from home) so that I can do a thorough delivery checklist and possible refuse pickup if there are issues. They did not ask me for a delivery preference yet, but not sure if they will find it more economical to deliver to my house directly from the factory and cut the stop at the dealership, since its only 20 miles from the factory. The dealerships have gone really light weight after they cut the staff there...
Since you are in the Valley, I would just go the Fremont delivery center. Then you can check it out thoroughly and reject it right there or have them fix minor things. They cleaned the car better for us, removed marks on the upholstery, etc. before we signed on the dotted (virtual) line.
Very true. Although I looked at enterprise and its $250 a WEEK for an econobox.I can feel you but hold on... In a way this is best of both worlds.. If there is a fire sale or inventory sale, you get to buy that otherwise the line keeps you in what is right now.... Perhaps just get a monthly rental from enterprise and not worry about it. The $200, $300 would hardly be a dent in pocket... consider it as shipping cost that you were not charged for home delivery...
I pick up my new X tomorrow!!! Friday at noon in Mt Kisko NY! wow! I already told them I am going to film so Ill have a video on my channel at some point.
