Integration with Google Home / Google Assistant - Now available for general use

Have you looked at doing any deep linking yet? That way an action could be performed with a single phrase. E.g. "talk to ev car and warm up my car"

In google Home you can create shortcuts.
So when I say "Get Darth Vader Ready" = "Ask EV Car to start climate control"
works really well, and sounds way sexier than "EV CAR" hehe
I also added a shortcut "Talk to Darth Vader" = Talk to EV Car" for general questions

This should work in one shot: "OK Google, ask EV car to warm up my car."

FYI a new version of the the app was updated last week. Other than a few performance and reliability improvements, you can now ask for "Air Quality". This will query airnow.gov to read out the current AQI index for the location where the Tesla currently is.

@Gol4 Is there any way EV Car can work on Android Wear? I have a Fossil Q which has a speaker and works nicely with 'OK Google' stuff. It doesn't recognise 'Talk to my EV Car' though.

The last time I checked with Google support folks, they said that custom actions were not supported on Android Wear yet. It doesn't look like that has changed yet.

Ah hah. That is interesting. I do wonder if they actually want Wear to get off the ground. It started so promisingly but now it feels like they are intentionally killing it off.

Hi Gol4, i'm a french owner of a Tesla. I really wanted to test your google action.
In french, i did not succeed. I switch the assistant to english and then i was able to connect to talk to EV Car and link my account.
I successfully tried command and it was OK. Great work.
I'm now back to french and it's not working anymore.

Can you do something to enable it for french people, if you need help for the translation or whatever, i can do it for you.
Two of my friends will get Teslas next week so we will definitely be more french people interested in your work.

To enable this, internationalization support will need to be added to the app. Let me play around a bit and see if I can generate a list of messages that you can easily provide translations for.

@Gol4 I'm unable to link via the Google Assistant app on my iPhone. When I get the card to link, credentials work properly, token is generated (successful), but then when I "continue", the screen hangs on a blank "oath-redirect.googleusercontent.com" webpage.

Clicking done on the webpage, takes me back to the google assistant app page, but I remain unlinked.

I just tried unlinking and relinking on a iPhone 5S and didn't see any issues. You could try closing all safari instances, updating Google Assistant, restarting your phone and retrying.

A few folks were facing account linking issues when using an iPhone. I opened a case with Google support folks and they came back with this. ( Basically, updating Google Assistant app fixes the problem)

"The iPhone Account linking issue: There was an issue with Account linking in iOS devices. The latest Google Assistant Version 1.2.1109 has the fix and is available and the account linking issue in iOS devices is resolved. Please get the latest Google Assistant Version 1.2.1109."

Cool, @Gol4, thanks for the great app! Can I translate to Japanese and would you include those to your app? I'm currently using English mode but many folks here might want Japanese.
BTW I registered a shortcut like "ask tesla" ="talk to EV car". When I talk "OK Google ask tesla" Google Assistant connects to EV Car, but can't I say "OK Google ask tesla turn climate on" in one phrase?
