Yes. Its called ambient led lighting. It has various settings. Mine are set to be on most of the time. Setting brightness is hi or low.View attachment 177747

It has improved about 3% from my 2014 Model S. So on a scale of 1 to 10, Model S gets a 1. Model X gets a 1.03.

It's hi and low. I don't think there is an off. In the video you can only see the under light in dim mode. The other is hard to see in video.To be fair I could not see any difference in the three modes other than off and on.
I will try it out tonight and see what happens IRL.
