Light color on dashboard is a NO

It's a basic design guide of dashboard.
Light color objects cause shadows on the glass which is downside to the eyesight of driver.

The wood trim can easily be made of a darker color. Hope Tesla will fix it later.

It's on the edge, I doubt you'd see it and if you did it'd be high up in the windshield. Might block your view of an airplane or something.

Only if you are parked directly under them, in which case you'd be in the intersection.

Can you find a picture online of it reflecting from the driver's point of view, or even the front seat passenger so we can see the angle?

It's right near your hands... do the reflections of your hands get in the way too?

This only applies to cars where the driver needs to see what's going on outside the car.

I have a light dash car now.
It has massive reflections on the front glass.
I almost never notice it, while driving.
I do notice the dashboard, all the time, so I prefer what looks best.

I got my B5 model A4 back in 2000 right after Audi switched over the red "tie fighter" dash lighting to a white/red scheme. Apparently they had too many complaints of the red lighting getting washed out when people drove in urban areas.

the natural ash wood on the s model is beautiful and alot nicer then the other dash options.Its not shiny and prone to fingerprints or scratches like the other options.Carbon fiber would be cool if it was matte and not shiney.
