Load capacity seems low...

Looking at new tyres so just researching - took a snap of my tyre tag in the door post: Total load of luggage and occupants not to exceed 858 Ibs. Imagine 5 adult men - say the local football (US) or Rugby club (UK)... that's the load capacity exceeded right there - and they don't have their sports bags in the back yet!

or is that meant to mean per wheel? Surely it isn't right... anyone one with a MX 6 or 7 seat version have anything different - or is it even worse - you can only drive supermodels around?... oh... wait....

Nope. 7 adults on board will likely exceed the capacity, without accessories. It wasn't built for that. You need a truck!

Lol! It is the size of a truck - its over 7 feet wide! Doesn't happen often - but I am in construction so just once in a while the grunts want to pile in...

Take a look at many of the trucks, you may even be surprised at the load limits for them.

Especially when you add in the weight of fuel (7+ per gal) and gear.

For a 5 passenger vehicle, it doesn't sound that low, unfortunately. See Should not exceed 892 pounds for passengers and cargo.

I can't speak to 6 or 7 passenger versions.
