The Model 3 Performance 2022 is currently available in two versions:For the Model 3 Performance 2022 do you know why the officila WLTP is 559 km while it is 547 on Tesla site ?
I actually need to update it to include the Performance 82kWh version with the reduced range from 567km to 559km. Will get to it soon.Don't you need to update your "Akkuchronik" in your Wiki as there is no LG Performance yet in 2022 ?
Both. The current buyers have all ordered the 547km Performance, which is the LG 5L 547km, so Tesla can still deliver E3LD 558km...basically over delivering. I am pretty sure that we see the first COC for the LG Performance and deliveries soon thereafter. The Panaonic version is probably a leftover from 2021, but with 2022 tech. Quite a nice combination actually, but then I am more curious for that LG Packs Power vs SoC curve in combination with the Model Y Performance drivetrain. Mine is due in March...fingers crossed! When you say "The Model 3 Performance 2022 is currently available in two versions" you mean on the homologation side or in real life ?
No, nothing. Still months away I guess.Ok, understand. And no news yet on homologation for the 4680 battery ?
Model 3 Performance with Model Y Performance drivetrain. The actual MYP is a pointless car in my opinion. Either small and fast or big and fast enough. My MYLR is absolutely fast enoughcongratulation for your Y Performance order
This is the message German customers got:I must have missed it, why did the range go from 614km to 602km with the E5LD Model 3 LR?
What is this? E3LD = 377 kW and E5LD = 393 kW?The Model 3 Performance 2022 is currently available in two versions:
- E3LD Panasonic 82kWh 559km 377kW
- E5LD LG Chem 79kWh 547km 393kW

Drive Unit Cat 2 and 3 is the difference. Same 3D6 Rear motor, but in the E5LD Performance it is allowed to go from 219kW to 235kW. These are the power limits of the MYP -> DU CAT 3.What is this? E3LD = 377 kW and E5LD = 393 kW?
So Model 3 P will have the opportunity to be powerfull/faster than the 2021? or it's referred only to Model Y P?Drive Unit Cat 2 and 3 is the difference. Same 3D6 Rear motor, but in the E5LD Performance it is allowed to go from 219kW to 235kW. These are the power limits of the MYP -> DU CAT 3.
Yes, the E5LD 2022 Performance is expected to be faster than the E3LD 2021/2022 Performance due to the higher power limit of the rear motor. So far none have been delivered to Europe though. If my M3P in March is the expected E5LD I can compare the who back to back, since I still own a Q4/2021 E3LD Performance. So Model 3 P will have the opportunity to be powerfull/faster than the 2021? or it's referred only to Model Y P?
My March 2021 E3LD has a 3D1.
It feels like its more or less always the battery ( with E3LD)that set the limit for the power.Yes, the E5LD 2022 Performance is expected to be faster than the E3LD 2021/2022 Performance due to the higher power limit of the rear motor. So what i'm reading is super charge the car, then do a launch to discharge with a high current. Sounds fun!Li-Ion Batteries in Electric Vehicles Will Last a Lot Longer Thanks to a Neat Trick
We all know Li-ion batteries decay, and this is a problem that most EV detractors raise when speaking about the future of electric cars. A group of DOE and Stanford scientists has found a clever way to extend Li-Ion batteries’ life, which involves nothing more than a software redesign for the...www.autoevolution.com
