Model 3 hidden in plain sight?

Tesla posted a picture of an empty parking spot on facebook, but looks like either the Model 3 or redesigned Model S is sitting in the background.

Did Tesla just hide the Model 3 in plain sight?

It looks like the white tape they put on the new cars when they are traveling, I've seen Tesla's with this stuff on them and on the side mirrors.

I find it hard to believe there would be a Model 3 uncovered anywhere outside the design studio - especially outdoors. Even if just for a moment to mess with us in a photo. Where was this taken? Is it secure?

My first thought is it might be someone's Kia...but then I thought maybe it is their intention to get everyone riled up....who knows.

Brilliant bit of dribble marketing if it is a M3 since there will soon be a lot more analysis and speculation.
I tried measuring and comparing the hatch lengths between the cars and its possible there are rear two cars on the right are similar and not Model S's.

Yep...whatever dark (black?) car on the far side of the brown MS appears to have the same dimensions as this white car....

Looks like a regular parking lot, could be any car really, not even a Tesla, which could account for the different look. Zero chance it's a 3 out before the reveal

The mirror is exactly the same as the Model X. Is there another car with that shape mirror that's also a liftback?

It's a Model S. It's just the perspective of the shot. If the next Model S (3rd car) moved forward a few inches, you'd see just the tail of it, and no hood also.

I'd go drive and check it out but there are often random cars parked in that lot, doubt it's the 3.

I too can't see a Model 3 there. It looks just like any white Model S that stands behind another Model S from that perspective. The proportions and shapes look completely identical to me.
Anyway, we'll certainly know more in just a few days
