Those circular lights on the roof cross-members are the dome lights. I assume they are on every Model 3, just like S and X. Premium pack is the ambient lights, like the lights in the footwells, under the armrests, etc.

The photos showing the glass roof are stunning, but I look forward to the day that the central cross pillar just behind the driver's head can be rotated. For now it seems to intrude into the cabin. Or perhaps it is better in real life.

Premium will usually be a similar package. It's not going to change much over the course of production. Its price and the options included may increase. But it will not decrease and allow you to purchase single options as stand-alone. No. Way.

BTW Anyone have experience with the AC? Like Is it like the 83 SC 911 I had or like most American cars that can hopefully blow your hat off? I really need a lot of air flow when it's 117+ and the cars been baking all day.

I hope the map doesn't always have to be up. I don't need this 99% of the time of my normal commute. I change it from the map display in my cars now. I find it distracting for everyday.

Agreed, and I don't need to waste cell data on a satellite overview most of the time either.

Yes, that's general knowledge at this point. It's a leather alternative for the premium version and textile for the non-premium.

This was made public the day or the day after the hand over night. But it will be called 'leather' by the masses for years to come. 'Vegan alternative material seating' just doesn't roll off the tongue

So then just make the handle thumb electrical thing a mechanical lever.

I don't care that there are 2 options. I just don't understand why they couldn't "simplify" it to make it one.

The mechanical one is a fail-safe in case there is a power failure, such post accident. Electronic one lets the outside door handle unlatch the door with a thumb press, and also lets the car unlatch the door as you approach.
