Just found my VIN in the page source code. Wil be/is made in Freemont. Are the last five digits 57100 indicative in any way of the battery/processor types?

We haven't been able to determine anything by VIN yet. There seems to be agreement that SA can use the VIN to determine if it has the new 12v battery but that is all.

Finally got VIN. 158 range. And no, I didn't ask about amd or battery.

I have the same range and the response I got is that AMD is not included in production yet, however, no feedback about the 12V battery

People are comparing insurance rates from different parts of the country. I wouldn't expect someone in North Carolina to pay as much as someone in SFO. I would hope everyone shops for the best rate in their area. Comparing rates here seems pointless.

I actually found it quite useful that multiple people here said they found Progressive to be cheaper for our Model 3s than Geico, Farmers and State Farm. While I agree comparing across regions isn't necessarily useful I think comparing across companies IS.

I just compared Geico (my current insurer) and Progressive quotes for Tesla M3 LR and Lexus ES350, and Progressive is $50 a month cheaper. However, I've been with Geico for 20+ years and not sure I'm ready to switch

I checked GEICO (my current provider) and it will be about $110 a month for full coverage. Being in Texas, I would like to see what Tesla's insurance quote would be, but they won't let you get a quote until closer to EDD and VIN is assigned.

We use Progressive for all of our homes and vehicles and no one has ever beaten them and we have had it quoted by other brokers and insurance companies, just my 2 cents.

100% agree, I asked if anyone was getting acceleration boost and they deleted all the posts. Its a waiting room for god sake.............
