With 162XXX it should be AMD per all of the patterns of VIN numbers.

-Config: White LRAWD w/ 19inch sport wheels & Black interior - No FSD

-OD: October 6th 2021
-Initial Delivery Date: November 15th-Dec 15th
-New Delivery Date: Changed to December 1st - December 30th
-December 8 2021 I was assigned a Vin, put it on hold until Jan 1st 2021 - Vin released
-December 20 2021 Un-held it early hoping delivery wouldn't be until Jan 2021 - Ended getting a Vin assigned the very next day December 21st, delivery was available 27th-29th. Called Tesla on December 22nd to try to push out delivery by a week, but had to put order again until Jan 2nd.
-December 30 2021, order was automatically unheld, delivery date TBD
-Jan 3rd 2022 - EDD updated to March 18th - March 30th
-Jan 8th 2022- EDD Updated to Jan 28-Feb 25
-Jan 25th 2022 - EDD Updated to Feb 6th-Feb 16th
-Jan 26th 2022 - Vin assigned (165XX) EDD Updated to Feb 8th-Feb 11th

I know most VINs with 160XX+ have been Ryzen, but just to make sure I asked the SA, he said it will have AMD Ryzen MCU and new 12V battery - Super stoked!! On my 2021 SR+ (sold December 2021), aside from the slow entertainment apps, I did notice some lag when trying to use the turn signal cameras on my , so hoping Ryzen chip will fix that.

OD 12/13/21, White/White/18"/no FSD

EDD:
12/13: February
12/15: January 13 - February 10
12/20: December 21 - December 31
12/22: January 13 - February 10
1/12: February 16 - March 16
1/18: January 25 - February 22
1/26: February 02 - March 02

Doesn't look good. Still a one-month window. Expect it to be pushed back again. I don't have any confidence that I can get the car in Q1 now...

It depends on the 90 day timeline, not number of times you put it on hold. If you are still under 90 days from OD, you can still push it out. I was able to push it 3 times to the current 90 day limit, now I must take my next assigned vin.

Congrats. I got the same specs as you and they gave me a 157XXX VIN with Intel.

Latest EDD: 2/8 - 2/22 but I haven't received my VIN yet. Is this normal?

Also, I haven't been getting ANY updates other than the trade-in text message a few weeks ago, even though I am not trading in a vehicle. Is this normal? The only way I see my latest EDD is by opening up the app.

Please help! New here :)

Welcome! It looks pretty normal. I think the vin typically comes 10-14 days before likely delivery, at least for east-coasters.

Getting the trade-in message is normal, got it as well although I do not have a vehicle to trade in. Afterwards, there will be some updates coming but it will take a while. I got my VIN about 5 days prior to my EDD start date, so you might get a VIN assigned maybe around 2/3 in case your EDD does not get pushed out.

So Mt Kisco, correct? I believe we should get our vins by the end of this week or early next week as I’m seeing a lot of early December ODs receiving them. Black/black combo is pretty rare based on what I’ve seen on this forum and on Reddit. So if anyone sees 2 black/black M3s on a truck, let us know!

I have a situation just got Carolina Cooperative and they're sending out a packet with loan application. You cannot apply online before getting the packet. They do not do refinance if you are not in North Carolina. I want the 1.99 rate instead of the 2.49 from Tesla DCU will not give me another auto loan since I have one with them already. Only way I see to handle is if I reject the Vin smh.

Yes, totally normal. I am at 1/26 to 2/9 EDD and don't have a VIN. Most of us are on that same boat.
