It's finally happened. Just got my VIN and EDD is now June 22 - 26. VIN 998886 for those interested.

I've been waiting to see you get a vin lol. Pretty much the only reason I've been coming back here. Congrats glad you got one. It took a day or two before I got an option to schedule delivery. I'm picking up tomorrow. Hopefully they'll just call you tomorrow and say come get your car .

Anybody able to give a quick summary of the absence of sentry mode without having to go through the whole video? Is this due to a software patch or another cost savings/supply chain issue?

It’s software. Ppl on Reddit have been complaining about this problem on Model 3/Ys with radar ever since they upgraded to 4.18.

You totally can. I did. Only catch is that if the price of the car has changed since you originally placed your order, you'd have to pay the difference. My delivery date had no impact however. My SA was tentative about it though. He said it might affect the date, fortunately it didn't.

I assume any flaws like that can all be fixed under warranty at the dealership?

Yes. I will open a service request tomorrow and hopefully it should be a quick fix.

Before heading off to bed I decided to do another check. Got the vision notification, now I have a VIN, and my delivery date is reading 6/23-6/30! Woohoo! Here's to hoping I get it this week!

My VIN ends in 0005** I don't know if that is very new, or if it's been sitting.

So, between these two posts I’m pretty sure this means the 1 millionth Model 3 from Fremont has been manufactured. I wonder who got it?

I have been lurking but wanted to add my stats for all those still waiting for their VIN.

Order date 5/9 Seattle
VIN received 6/23

My EDD was doing the one day moving dance for the last week or so. Until yesterday when I woke up to an EDD of 8-12 weeks. Even now with a VIN it shows EDD 7-11 weeks.

Still in "Forever 2 Days Away" zone. On the plus side, it's the smallest window ever and at least in the last 78 days since ordering, the back end date has been consistently 6/30.

Ordered 4/7, but didn't finish the financing portion until 5/19, so that might have had an impact. Waited until within 45 days of back end EDD (6/30) since I didn't want it to expire and wasn't clear if approval was good for 30 or 60 days.

Even though I talked to my SA last night and he said I’d be in the first couple of weeks of July, I’m still checking my EDD… woke up this morning with another shift - first one in a week… Just moved from 8-12 weeks to 7-11 weeks. Sigh… Anybody else in the 8-12 weeks seeing a similar shift today?
