Finally received a VIN 230xxx with a window of April 28 to May 2. I will be away on a trip from April 29 to May 3. Do we know how long can they hold the car?

They basically won't hold it. You need to be there within the small window of options or it goes to the next person.

Yeah, once you get the "schedule delivery" text/app alert, you have 3 days to schedule or else you'll lose the VIN and be put on hold status. Since you have a VIN, your delivery window is probably pretty accurate. Tesla doesn't care if they've pulled the rug on you multiple times and the latest EDD is during a pre-scheduled vacation.

You can't change the dates? I say that as a joke because I own a travel agency and people will tell you that they want to cruise exact dates as if you pick when they leave and return. It is possible to leave at one port and rejoin them later but it's a huge hassle and of course costly if you were trying to fly in to get your car and then back.

04/22/22 - EDD: 06/02 - 07/07
Was originally 06/07 - 07/21, so a 5 day pull in and window tightened from 42 days to 35 days.

I’ve noticed a lot of AZ people have EDDs of June-July on Reddit. You’re an exception of this EDD range. I wouldn’t be surprised if Arizona people start getting their vehicles mid May.

Just got updated to May2-May5. Purchase agreement is in place. That came in fast. Was expecting mid May.

EDD updated to 4/28 - 5/9 this morning! The window length is 11 days which seems odd to me, but I'll take it!!

My EDD just changed to that April 28 - May 9. That was weird went from month edd range to this. Should receive VIN any day now.

Im doing leasing and just need to know if I need to redo it now or it will let me know I need to update it when the time comes. So excited.
