If you go back to the start of this thread and follow the discussion you will see the that the fitting details are quite well covered.

On one side I actually put a match wrapped in gaffer tape between the liner and the bodywork, thus fixing the liner securely. No more movement of mudflap against the external paint. The other side doesnt need it. Now much less worried about paint rub.

I’ve looked at the link you posted but it looks like the minimum order is 100 screws, which seems to be a bit of overkill.

I wondered if you found a better source for smaller quantities?

You were quite right, of course, the screws supplied with the mud flaps are already going rusty...

You can probably find a smaller quantity on eBay for the screws

Oops, wrong colour, I actually bought the stainless steel ones, not the black ones, available in smaller quantities.

I then dabbed some black hammerite on the end although they wouldn't have been visible for long. Sorry for the delay in replying, have been busy !

Rally Armour are now doing mud flaps for the Model 3

Expensive but I bought them as they didn't require any drilling and wouldn't rub on paint etc. Fitting wasn't too bad but out need a low profile screwdriver and wrench.

+1 for Rally Armor. Also, if you need any spare clips it’s easy to just order them from Tesla. I ordered a bag of 25 to keep some spares and they cost me $0.45 each.

Yep, me too. Mine lasted about five weeks in the car

I have them (in white), but I just don't understand how they can break over speed humps. The only thing that would make any sense might be if you were driving off a pavement with a very deep square kerb..

It’s easy to break them. They are held on by plastic clips and are hard plastic. If they touch vertical on the speed bump they crack.

I understand that they may break if bumped. What I can't understand is how this is possible geometrically.

Perhaps the speed bumps are not as big where you live, but here and in France they can be quite high (1/3 of the height of a tire) and the fronts can hit easily even if going over them carefully.

Agree they are not the best value but Tesla ownership has made me do quite a few irrational and crazy things which started with reserving a car I'd never seen, looking at web code to try and find my VIN number, looking at shipping movements.......

Knowing you Jeremy you’ve probably got a home brew laser cutter, and a little foundry in one of your outbuildings. I’m sure you could knock some out for us at a reasonable price?
