MVPA: Initially dated 02/23, but now comes up as 02/26 (not sure why - same VIN)
Delivery Scheduled: Text received 02/25 to schedule
Selected Delivery Date: 03/14 (local Tesla Advisor informed me that it’s scheduled to arrive 03/12 but may arrive earlier - would be nice, like a week earlier perhaps?!)

Specs:
SR+ | Pearl White | White Interior | 18-inch | Autopilot

I submitted all the necessary documents the day I placed the order - the specialist told me that they prioritize customers that have all their documentation in place. That said, all my documents were uploaded immediately but my payment option is a loan check I had in hand from my credit union.

I placed an order for a Model Y a month or so ago and was hoping to get it early but my specs for that is LR AWD, white on white and 19-inch so that may be a few weeks or couple months out from the initial deliveries. I’ll pass on it and take delivery on a Model 3. Waiting is never fun!

Ordered February 10th, VIN in source on February 29th I think it was, then March 1st I got an email scheduling delivery on March 4th.

My best guess is that someone else with the same config (SR+, Red, Black) backed out. Don't understand how else I would have gotten it so quick.

Won't be able to make the delivery, so someone is going to get lucky when they reassign my VIN.

edit: interestingly enough, still no change to the Tesla website. No purchase agreement, no VIN, no nothing. Just the same VIN in source.

Called Tesla this morning about possibly making a change to order and they looked at the details and said I should be getting a delivery notice today. I could make a change but that would push my delivery window to end of month to mid April. Sure enough, delivery times for custom builds moved from 2-4 weeks to 5-8 today.
