I ordered my M3P 30th March....and mine still says August. Would have thought mine being black paint (so a paid extra option) would have put me slightly higher up on the pecking order. Maybe they have run out of black lol

That surprises me too, I would’ve thought your paid option would’ve come before mine. Mind you, still some time to go yet. Maybe our cars are parked next to each other on the same boat!

Cars are not made-to-order - so allocation only if they have made/scheduled a batch of Black (and also including your wheels / trim / other options) ... and not all in that batch were already allocated.

But EDDs move around, so may well move forwards as yet.

I'm guessing if your EDD is still May and hasn't narrowed. Then your car isn't even built yet or booked on a ship?

How are we supposed to be getting a May delivery while it appears no ships are arriving. My car was showing a 4 week window last end of may to late June now i5 has changed to a May delivery

Until we get confirmation that some VINs for May 2022 EDD have been allocated, it's increasingly looking like we may not get our chariots anytime soon. I'm hoping I'm wrong, we'll just have to wait and see.

Very curious that all of the ones without a specific set date range were later orders.

I think the May 22 EDD was the original date before the Shanghai lockdown. It probably won't update until the cars have been allocated a build date/shipping date. For those that ordered in March I suspect it will be at least a July delivery now, due to the lack of cars being manufactured due to the parts shortage.

I have my hypervolt ev charger being installed tomorrow too
