I know what you are going through mate - I put my order in for March was told May. The plan was that my wife would sell her car and use my existing. My wife jumped the gun and sold her car to a family member. We are now sharing one car - it's a nightmare.

The dreaded May 2022 which we know is impossible. It's the placeholder until then know when your car will be built/shipped. I think the issue is they don't know yet. But maybe it will be July now but most likely August. Like waiting for your delayed plane to takeoff and no one knows when!

Absolute nightmare, I made a huge mistake by deciding not to go with Tesla trade in and go through car wow for an extra 1,000. In my head I could justify being without a car for 4-6 weeks for an extra 1,000 but if it's going to be two or three months it's definitely was bad call. Forgot how unreliable Tesla with delivery dates....

I have a suspicion with the fall in production rates and with a looming quarter end some cars couldn’t be made in time for the shipment.

Colour seems to be the only outlier compared to those still with end of June dates.

It would be much better that Tesla had "Unallocated than "Impossible / current month" <sigh>

"May" won't be July (well, my best guess). Tesla don't deliver cars first month of quarter. However, it is entirely possible (following Shanghai lockdown) that Tesla have some part built cars, waiting for parts - or UK-specific parts waiting for more parts and clogging up the warehouse - and they intend to ship those cars too late to arrive in UK by end June. But ... for those orders I would have expected the EDD to have moved to July rather than be stuck at May, because the preliminary allocation of Order-to-Product Batch would have been made already.

All my own guesswork.

For what it's worth. I'm waiting on a LHD M3P delivery to Spain and the EDD is May 2022. So i don't think it's anything to do with LHD/RHD, which boat is leaving Shanghai. It's purely down to not enough cars being manufactured. I'm interested to see what will happen on June 1st. Will it still say May!

Looking at the table there is a pattern now. Looks like those who ordered in Feb 2022 are mostly showing a EDD range in June.
