Don't think they could ever roll out all at once, 200K cars... if there was any issues or even just the number of normal update fails Tesla service and phone bank could never handle the volume let alone the servers

That's precisely right. Hopefully, one day, Tesla is big enough to handle that kind of capacity!

It’s not really about the capacity. It’s about the potential for undiscovered bugs during testing that could screw up the whole fleet.

I upgraded from 32.2 to 32.6 in early September. Now, I am still on 32.6. I saw many people are on either 36.2 or 34.1. Why I am so many versions behind?

By the way, I didn't buy AP.

Yes, on WiFi. I knew Wifi typically give you earlier upgrade.

It seems like to get to V9 you have to be at 36.2 first, so if you're on anything below 36.2 and get a software notification, don't get your hopes up

Are you able to use your phone as a hotspot? If so then you can try that. Not sure about your phone data plan and how big are the Tesla updates, it may use a large portion of your data alotmeall if you don't have unlimited data.
