Wiki Model Accessories Mega List / Cheat Sheet

I have compiled a list of all the Model Y accessories that I find useful, to possibly save other members the hours of research I’ve done, and lessons learnt from accessories that either did or didn’t work well on my M3.

I haven’t included items that I think are pointless, such as the screen protector, which is not necessary for protection on a screen that can’t be dropped, and not necessary for cleaning as the screen is very easy to clean with a dry microfibre cloth, and also not necessary for preventing reflections as I’ve had no issues with reflections at all.

If anyone has any suggestions for decent accessories then please share them, if I buy any of them I’ll add them to the list.

1. Tesla key fob: Model 3/Y Key Fob - Makes opening frunk and unlocking charge port much more convenient, also acts as a keycard even if fob battery runs out, meaning you don’t need to carry a keycard.

5. Ultra bright boot LED: https://tessories.uk/product/model-y-boot-light/ - Much brighter than the standard little light.
6. Cup holder stabiliser: https://tessories.uk/product/model-y-3-cup-holder-stabilizer/ - Still allows use of big bottles, but keeps smaller ones steadier.
7. Jack pads: Jack Pads for Tesla – Tessories - Essential if you have a jack without a large rubber saddle.

So my all-weather mats from aliexpress turned up today. Is anyone else of the opinion that they're a bit... crap? I expected the fit and quality to be loads better. I've had to force some of the mats down in places and it doesn't look to be a great fit. I also don't know what the rear liner is for as it doesn't seem to fit in any of the spaces available...

If you mean the ones linked on this thread then I would say they are good for the price, but as you say the fit is not perfect. I bought the full set including floor mats and 3x boot mats. The boot mats are not a perfect fit either but at £130 for all I am pretty happy.

I would add that they do settle down a bit over time. So probably not as bad as your initial impression...give them a week or so.

Sorry probably does not help those that have already ordered but I got the mats below for my Y. £146 at the time. I live in muddy countryside, with a big muddy dog and messy family. If thats you (rather then those that have amazing skills at keeping everything clean and tidy - I wish I could be like you) these matts are great. They even have a lip at the edges so any liquids does run off. They are a really good fit.

I got these mats from Amazon. Having had the Genuine Tesla All Weather for my Model 3, and Tesla not supplying equivalent RHD for the Model Y, these are almost identical. Cannot vouch for fit as still waiting for the Model Y still.

For the same price you'd get those and the interior mats from the Ali express one linked above takes about 3 weeks for delivery though which maybe an issue

The MYP comes with mats of its own so why not use those? Just curious.

These are rubber/pvc 'all weather' as opposed to plush carpet mats. So you can clean them easily. Useful for damp conditions in winter if you don't want to make a mess.

I got the all weather mats from Tesery. But also the sill/carpet protectors from Tessories. The latter are game changing protection for my five year old climbing in.
