I couldn't agree more with the OP. Classic design only requires small tweaks and in this case, the body lines don't need to be touched. I can see small changes in the nosecone and maybe one day the headlights. I love the back of this car and taillights so much I hope they never change it. From a design perspective, Tesla knocked this out of the park.
 
Count me amongst the group that doesn't expect a major body change before the Model 3 is fully launched. I don't expect one before 2020. That would be 8 years from the first deliveries of Model S's. Could be longer if they decide to release a new roadster first.
