I think it is interesting that the pro-EV comments on that post seem to be more numerous than the anti-EV comments, which is an encouraging sign. I recently made a special point of giving a Tesla test ride to a young couple who live a few houses down from me, who are proud Tea Party supporters (complete with a "Don't Tread on Me" flag) on their house. They loved the Tesla, even though they tried to trot out a few anti-EV arguments. Once they rode in the Tesla, and once I answered some of their questions, they seemed to be converts. Hopefully so...
