Sequence # 15, 292. Delivery window is March 6 - March 20, Just got the VIN number (6303) via phone call from Tesla Natick, MA, Friday evening. VIN number hasn't appeared as yet on the phone app or Web page.

Ours will probably be on the same truck - I am VIN 6302 and picking up in Watertown - same delivery window. My VIN showed up on the app on Wednesday night. Have never heard from anyone at Tesla (Natick or CA), but I did call last week and they said to expect delivery in the 'middle of the window.' We'll see.

I'm pretty sure I saw VIN 6,790 being assembled when I took the factory tour yesterday (I was picking up VIN 5785). At one point in the tour, they showed us the part of the assembly line where the roof is attached to the rest of the frame and each frame had a very VIN-like 6,7XX four digit number hand written on it. Next in line to get the roof attached (as of about noon yesterday) had 6790 written on it.

That's neat. So 6283 ("Shane") might be finished? Maybe I should get home? Or at least check messages? I hope he's not scared, or lonely. Wondering where I am.

Our tour guide didn't let us out near the finished cars so I couldn't spot any other VIN numbers. But I bet your car was either in the final stages of assembly or being QC'ed. And I'm pretty sure "Shane" isn't lonely since he's surrounded by his brothers and sisters :)

Not to be judgemental but I certainly will not allow him to drink alcohol at such a young age.

Tuck,

Wendy Chuah, the Natick Branch Manager, was the person who called my cell phone Friday@ 5:00pm. She asked for copies of my license and proof of auto insurance to get the paperwork started. She said the car would be here in 2 to 3 weeks (within the window). I'm having the car delivered to my home so you'll probably get yours first. Wendy's email address is: [email protected]

George

Thanks George. I'll shoot Wendy and email. Good luck on the final stretch.

Got the same call Friday at 5pm--VIN 7007 for pickup in Seattle, with same dates. Seq number 18705. Same colors as you.

It looks like we have the exact same car, in the same city, with my reservation number <150 before yours (and strangely my VIN 650 lower). So I guess I better call my DS tomorrow...

Update: Delivery on 3/12! How am I supposed to get anything done between then and now...

Update on VIN 6273. Received a call from my PS this evening, car is in route from Fremont to Bellevue. Will be ready for pickup on 3/8, a whole week earlier than predicted. I'll be out of town so scheduled pickup for Monday the 11th.

Wow! Shane (aka:6283) MUST be finished. Maybe I should fly out to see him and make sure he's OK and knows I'm waiting for him. Since Jerry Brown wont let me pick him up without paying the CA taxes.

Does anyone know when you are supposed to get a delivery specialist assigned? I got my vin over the phone last week and my window is between 11th and 25th of March but I have not heard anything from Tesla and have not had any contact (other than my phone call last week) from anyone at the factory. I'm starting to get antsy since my financing already came through with Penfed.

Reservation number 13,844. Vin 6231. Delivery was scheduled between Feb. 24 - Mar. 10. Received final paperwork last night. Somehow, in my rush to get things finished, I sent the wire transfer this morning before signing the paperwork. Regardless, less than 5 minutes after submitting the paperwork, I received an email from the local ds who said the car was in the colorado shop for final preparations and would be ready for home delivery tomorrow. P85 gray, 19", tech, pano...exciting

You can always call the main number and ask - but otherwise someone will be in touch with you when they have something interesting to say or ask you.
