Delivery will take place at you home due to your distance to the Raleigh Service Center. Based on your current production schedule, we will look for delivery the week of March 10th. As your car goes through the production process and transportation from the factory, I will look to see if we can move the delivery date forward. Would you like to pick a day that week that might work for you?

No VIN yet and they just stared sourcing parts. I live 25 min from the Fremont factory and I still have to pay the 1170 delivery and doc fees. Its kinda of messed up.

I was on this week's wave of VIN numbers, quickly followed by a contact from the delivery specialist. Mine will be 32152 and is planned for delivery on March 13. More than a month after MidlifeCrisis for one day difference in the order date :-(

Why such a long delay?

Current lease expires in March. Was encouraged to order before August 1st in case there were any price changes (there was a strong hint there would be - and there was).

Saved at least $5k on my chosen config as a result.

No official changes in status but following an email to say my date might slip a bit, I asked for details of the next steps as I'm going to be away for a couple of weeks prior to delivery and as a result, I received the final documents for signing - and signed them. This is essentially the bill of sale so I could get my insurance setup and I've also made payment arrangements so everything is ready to go. I've got an appointment setup for a wrap and I'm in the process of buying tires to go on my new Rial Lugano wheels so I have a winter tire option in case Calgary weather (true to form) is still awful when I receive the car - I don't want to have to leave it in the garage. Oh yeah, I've got an HPWC and an electrician appointment. Things are getting real!

No, both sets of rims are of AZEV.
They were both used for photo shoots and so I can get them cheaper.
The original rims / tires I have already been sold, even though I do not even have the car.
I'm crazy.
