Model S range and interior update imminent?

Huh, very tempted to get an S now. Not sure I like the steering wheel though, I’d need to test drive it to see if I can get used to the shape.

The order page has been updated on the main Tesla site. However, it only has the white leather with a carbon fiber accent not wood as shown in the quarterly report. Also shows the exterior updates.

My order pages has updated to remove my estimated deliver date, but still shows the same price as back in December.

but, Plaid+ (>500 mi range and <1.99) is late 2021

You mean this:

We also continue to increase Model Y production, including integration of the single-piece rear underbody castings, to meet customer demand.

That doesn't apply to the Model S... And we already knew the Model Y had that.

Sounds like the choice is basically do you want an 18650-based battery pack or a 4680-based battery pack.

I discussed this with the Tesla rep when I made my reservation in early December. He told me that reserving then would protect me from 'any price increase if there is a refresh'. In fact that was a selling point. I mentioned it here in the forums at the time. Looks like he saved me $11k.

I suspect a token $1-4k discount to split the difference, but I can't imagine a scenario where they just eat the $10k on thousands of orders.
