Model X July Deliveries

I just stopped by the local tesla showroom near Boston. They had a model x on display and said they got it in about this past Tuesday. The VIN number was 6844. You all can calculate on your own, but assuming only 5 days in production and the bear minimum of 10 days transport than it could have been made the latest on May 23. Not sure if they're doing VINs out of order but it's interesting to see such a high number. It was a 7 seat pearl white, $134,000 was the cost of it but didn't see if it was a 90 or a P90. Also outside they had another new one with VIN 8207!

I don't think it's possible to option a 90D up to $134k, so I'd assume it's a P90D.

I did not see any new VINs being assigned for 90Ds in the U.S for the last few weeks :( Did anyone who confirmed after May 26th have a VIN yet? I haven't heard much from my DS either.

My 90D order confirmed on May 29th and I do not have a VIN assigned yet. My DS also didn't have any updates as of a couple of days ago. That said, I've been watching the June deliveries thread closely and a lot of folks across the country are getting deliveries for orders placed/confirmed in April. My guess is we will start seeing some action for our orders by late June or early July, hopefully with a July delivery. At the same time, I'm mentally preparing myself for an August delivery...

I got a confirmed order of my 90D in early Jan and I still haven't got a VIN or heard jack from my DS on an expected anything. I did talk to my original guy at the outlet store this afternoon and he said that he said my production queue had moved up a week and from what he has been seeing that he expects me to take delivery mid August.

Sorry but if I was I would be a but anxious. I really hope all cars coming off the line are flawless by now. Good luck!

My DS said they have slowed down production and quality assurance testing on the MX to ensure there are no more issues as there once were. Also, I'm in Canada, so I believe a few things are different about the software of the car.

I reserved my car in March 2015 confirmed in March 2016 and haven't received my car yet. Did you pre-order/reserve your car? Or did you just order and confirm in May?
I'd have to assume (then again you can't assume anything with Tesla) that they are still working on the reservation list first. I could be wrong. Here is Canada, we've only recently started to take deliveries. Vancouver, BC started getting them a few weeks ago and Eastern Canada (me) will start seeing them this week. The signatures are being delivered this and next week here (Toronto, ON, Canada)

That's very strange, given it's a 90D. Did you order a 5-seat configuration?

Have you ever assigned a delivery specialist. Something is wrong as you are getting 90d you should get vin long time ago. As they are currently working on mostly on p90d and 90d production. If you have your ds just email him and check on that.

I do have a DS assigned. He never communicated with me. As always, communications have never been great with Tesla. I am not in a hurry. If Tesla wants my money, they need to bring me my car. I shouldn't have to beg for it.

You may want to give the deliveries line of your Service Center a call. When my order was first confirmed, I had a question and reached out to my assigned DS. After getting no response, I called my SC. They were fairly baffled because the system had assigned me someone who worked at a SC in an entirely different state. They didn't know why that would have happened and immediately assigned me properly and gave me an update on the order's status.

No idea if it's the case for you, but you may want to call just to confirm you are properly assigned to someone.
