Picked up today. Sunshade!!!
More pics of the sun shade
That looks really good and gives me hope I can make it through an Arizona summer without going blind or getting friedMore pics of the sun shade
Thanks for posting, are these the new ones? How effective is it? I was hoping it would be solid

It doesn't seem to fit to well around the mirror though.
What is in the smaller box?
what's the build date? congrats, beautiful color!Took delivery today and it's amazing! Got the active spoiler but no sunshade yet. I don't think I'd use it anyway since the tinting is more than adequate. They said mine was the first blue X to be delivered through Columbus. There were at least 10 other Xs in the service bay awaiting delivery, mostly P90D.

congratulations.... Lots of Blue cars being delivered recently... supports batch production theoryYippy, after three years, we have our X! We picked it up in San Rafael and our first drive was a 2500' climb to the top of Mt. Tamalpais. Then after a stop over in Muir Woods National Monument, we drove 2.5 hours home.... all on one charge! Our orientation specialist, Ian, was awesome and gladly spent the two hours necessary to allow us to closely inspect the vehicle. The only issues were a small glob of tinting material on the FWD skylight (which was included as a service item on the due bill), a couple trim panels that were loose (and easily pressed into place, and small spots of adhesive residue on the wheels (easily removed). We got the 'free' active spoiler (which was not ordered), but did not get the gratis bioweapon filter (darn!). Ian said that Tesla will be including active spoilers on all X's, because it is too expensive to retool to not include them.
So far everything is great with the X, except within a few miles of home some nut job came around a corner and forced my wife into a large muddy puddle on the shoulder coating the entire car in mud and grit One thing I did become aware of with the X is that the combination of darkly tinted second row windows, a small-darkly tinted rear view mirror and a huge B-pillar, make for a nasty little blind spot on the left side of the vehicle. If anyone has any tricks for eliminating or mitigating that blind spot... please share.
No sunshade, but we were provided with a nice TESLA umbrella that could serve as sunshade in a pinch
VIN 29xx, reserved May, 2013 (#35xx), ordered late Feb, delivered late May, 2016.
