Nah... this crowd is notoriously forgiving about minor mishaps like that. No way that anyone will examine or even care about how well they line up in the production cars... :-D

Until they don't! Hopefully the first X's have much better alignment than the first (few thousand?) S's.

It looks 2 small to fit a third row.. Guess we will see how they managed in July?
Also looks like the nose cone is gone. If so I'm very happy!

Also if you look closely at the side profile pic you can see a screen at the A-pillar's window frame? Whats up with that?

Interesting. Looks a lot less "pregnant whale" than the black betas. More like a taller Model S. Actually, incredibly like the Model S - more so than the early prototypes shown at the X reveal in 2012 and on tour in 2013.

Its like the Model S bigger sibling. Very pleased so far, but basically not trying to pay too much attention to the mules as a "production" version.

I live near Tesla headquarters in Palo Alto & they were loading 2 of these compact cars into a hauler with Michigan plates. I think it's the compact model? Can someone verify?

Yeah the other car was white. This car was pretty small like a Ford Focus.

I've seen the Model X prototype at TESLIVE - it's much larger than this! But the body style (and wheels) do look very Tesla-ish. Love to see the VIN on one of these!

Might be a bit of an illusion due to the angle. It definitely looks like the Model X mule. Plus, it is way too early for any Model 3 mules.

The trim on the falcon wing door doesn't line up with the rest of the trim either.

Looks great otherwise!

Looks the same size as the leaf, which is a hatchback not an SUV. In fact the tailgates roof is higher as it doesn't slope off. The driver also seems to have a lot more headroom.

Also anyone notice that the front of the car resembles the prototype of the S with its rising underside design.

I'm really hoping the production version is better. They surely got a lot of feedback about panel fit & finish in regard to the Model S.
