Everyone needs to calm down. I order mine on 2/25 (VIN # 1003xx) and it only completed production a couple of days ago. If you ordered significantly later (and have a VIN # that is significantly higher), they will get to you but they are going in order at this point for US deliveries.

I've sent two e-mails to my DS and have had radio silence. I was promised delivery around the third week of June (VIN 5/17) but since placing the order no one has answered my emails or texts... Should I just expect a July/August delivery? I'm sure the website will just say that's scheduled for production for another few weeks.

Yeah it will be a super quick production. My DS replied and said I’m still firm for June.

I don't mind the wait one bit it's just us trying to schedule our vacation time around the delivery time. we're planning a big trip with it so i'm just curious what car i'll be taking :)

my status went from in production starting 5/21 to finished and on its way to me on 5/25. i am guessing this wasn't totally accurate since that would be the quickest production job ever. i hope they put the wheels on.

What?? Mine went into production 5/19 and still in production. Just hoping they find all the issues and fix them before delivery..

Still waiting...

With our previous two Model S orders, the delivery specialist was not always a good source for information. Sometimes we'd get more information from our Tesla Account page or status updates sent to us from Tesla.

Tesla is likely very close to the 200K US delivery trigger - which is probably why they just shipped a large number of Model 3's to Canada, to get those cars delivered in this quarter, but not count against the US tax credit trigger.

While our DS thinks the car will be delivered in early to mid June, I would not be surprised to see that slip into early July, if that's what it takes for Tesla to push the 200K delivery into early July.

About the only thing we should be able to count on - cars that have VINs today will likely be delivered by mid-July.

We're still hoping for early June - since we plan to take some family trips in June, and the extra seating in the Model X would be useful (compared to our S 100D).

I feel pretty confident the Early May orders will get delivered in June. If you track the vin given dates with production start it lines up. For example one of the gents above had a vin given on 4/23 and started production on 5/19 so 23 days to production with 3-5 days of assembly. If you follow that same trend, it looks good.
