*Disclaimers:

  • This collection of the numbers is gathered from posts by members on various threads and other forums. Please note: these aren't official numbers, and are to be taken with a grain of salt. Do not rely upon the total of production + signature numbers in any way as those who have upgraded from a production reservation to a signature reservation have been counted twice. Cancellations after December 31 are guesstimates.
  • North America: Signatures assumed sold out as of March 26, 2014 and perhaps limited to 1,200.
  • Europe: Signatures assumed sold out as of November 10, 2014 and perhaps limited to 500.

Footnotes:
1. Estimated 19,500 net reservations as of Dec 31, 2014 as per Q4 report of having "almost 20,000" on the books. Result:19,500 out of 23,643 = ~ 17.52% up to this date are likely cancelled.
2. Estimated Cancellations after December 31, 2014, currently estimated at 20/month

Reserved yesterday, got #4088 (EU).
1. How does this correspond with the 4627 number by jul31 ?
2. With ~25k X's in front of me; "early 2016" (as the website showed me) seems to optimistic to me. How realistic does "end of spring" sounds?

Technically the day that splits the calendar in half is July 2nd... So "early 2016" could be as late as July first to still be in The First Half ;-)

The number for 31st of July also includes the EU signature series vehicles which are not part of the general production numbers.

Correct, the July report production EU number was 4,035 on July 28, 15. So you are 53 later after a week, which seems pretty much in line.

End of spring is realistic if Tesla meets its ramp target and the global roll out after the USA doesn't run into a lot of hiccups.

Deja Vu: been there before in 2012/2013.
I'll block the last week of june, since delivery then is good for Q2,16 numbers (and a summer X-vacation:))
